The fastest growing trend in applied philosophy might just be “New Stoicism”.  What is this?  New Stoicism is based on the most popular philosophy of ancient Rome — but it’s also influenced modern psychological practices like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Each year the University of Exeter conducts Stoic Week and this year it’s from Monday 24 to Sunday 30 November.

It’s free to enrol and you get materials to read, video and audio recordings of the main event in London, and the chance to share your experiences during the week with an online community of participants.
