From New Zealand: resisting the evangelists

Journalist Alison McCulloch from the Bay of Plenty Times newspaper in New Zealand does a good job raising awareness about the insidious spread of evangelism in New Zealand schools … see here.

Her hard hitting article, which criticises secularists for their complacency as much as religionists for their evangelistic fervour, finishes with the following great quote:

“I thought we already had secular individuals who taught values as per the national curriculum. They are called teachers.”
