Minister of Education Martin Dixon announces the long awaited Ministerial Direction on SRI.  Confusingly, claims on the one hand that “Principals are responsible for making decisions in relation to SRI” but on the other “Principals must offer parents the opportunity for their children to participate in SRI when an accredited and approved instructor approaches the school and is available to deliver SRI”.
