On 4th Nov 2009, The Age newspaper published an extraordinary outburst by Greg Craven, entitled "A plague of atheists has descended, and Catholics are the target" -- read it here.
Noting that Craven signed this letter as Vice Chancellor of the Australian Catholic University, the RSA wrote to the Chancellor of the University, asking him to chastise his Vice Chancellor for bringing the University into disrepute by penning such a intemperate, mendacious, intellectually barren and libellous attack.
